๐Ÿ‘‹ Hi, Iโ€™m James Ashford, and welcome to my personal blog! I love exploring how we can use technology not as a distraction, but as a tool to build community, spread the Gospel, and honour God. I believe that technology can be a blessing, and that every digital interaction is an opportunity to reflect Christโ€™s love.

I was born in Norwich, UK (mid 90's) and was raised in rural Norfolk for all of my childhood. I developed a passion for computers from a young age and ever since I taught myself to code and develop websites in high school, I was destined to pursue an education in computing.

I'm currently an academic based in South Wales, UK, and I hold a PhD in Computer Science from Cardiff University. I have a passion for writing about the role of technology in our modern world, with a particular interests in social computing and the influence of technology on our daily lives.
