A profile picture (an old one) of me, James Ashford.

šŸ‘‹ Hi, I’m James Ashford, and welcome to my personal blog! I am a data scientist by profession but also a full-time Christian, husband and a father of two boys. This blog is used as a space to document my thoughts on topics such as technology, politics and others from a Christain perspective.

I was born in Norwich, UK (mid 90's) and was raised in rural Norfolk for all of my childhood. I developed a passion for computers from a young age and ever since I taught myself to code and develop websites in high school, I was destined to pursue an education in computing.

I'm currently an academic based in South Wales, UK, and I hold a PhD in Computer Science from Cardiff University. I have a passion for writing about the role of technology in our modern world, with a particular interests in social computing and the influence of technology on our daily lives.
